Accessing in MS Outlook

Access in MS Outlook

We all know that many of us love and are used to MS Outlook as our email client. Although Google Workspace provides a better user experience when accessed on the web, just like you do with your personal Gmail, If you want to keep using MS Outlook or would like to access/set up your MS Outlook, you will need to configure your MS Outlook.

Don't worry, it is not a hard process that only IT Can do. We have made it easier through this resource available online

Before you begin, the Google Workspace domain admin MUST enable access to Less Secure Apps in the Google Workspace Admin Console for these instructions to work. Each user must make the first login through the Gmail Web interface where they need to change their initial password and accept the Terms and Conditions before making configurations to MS Outlook. This has already been done by your IT or Partner MOST likely.

STEP 1: Using the username and password provided, proceed to log into the Google Workspace email at gmail.com, or mail.google.com and go to the Setting Icon (Gear Icon), and select See all Settings as shown above

STEP 2: Then Go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP settings tab to make sure both POP and IMAP are all enabled then click save as shown

STEP 2: Then Go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP settings tab to make sure both POP and IMAP are all enabled then click save as shown

STEP 3: Make sure to click Save Changes
